Welcome to Neroli Rose, where all of our ingredients are organic, wild-crafted or ethically produced. There are no synthetic ingredients, chemicals or petroleum derivatives in any of our products. We use the best therapeutic-grade essential oils in the world and create proprietary blends with intoxicating aromas that enhance our physical and emotional well-being. Organic orange oil, for example, is used for its scent and its cancer-fighting, anti-tumoral properties. Sweet, wild-crafted lavender is used to calm the nerves, soothe skin and diminish muscle pain. Our smooth, hydrating shea butter from Southern Sudan is the finest natural moisturizer in the world. In Sudan, shea butter is called Lulu, meaning “treasured pearl.” Sudanese women process their Lulu by hand, using an ancient, cold-pressed technique that retains the highest concentrations of Vitamins A and E. The butter is produced from the nuts of shea trees that grow wild, deep within the Sudanese forests, untouched by chemicals or fertilizers. This rare shea butter from the Nile Basin is so nutritious, it serves as a food staple for the Sudanese people during the dry season.
Our Ethics
Neroli Rose is a business run by women and supportive of women around the world. Our goal is to provide customers with the healthiest, highest quality and most reasonably priced skin care products. All of our ingredients are wholesome and sustainable.
We created Neroli Rose as a healthy alternative to the nylons, vinyls, phthalates, polymers, parabens and dyes that women routinely put on their skin. Each day the average woman uses 12 personal care products containing 168 chemical ingredients, many of which are toxic and derived from petroleum, according to the Environmental Working Group (EWG), a non-profit research organization that runs an online cosmetic safety database. Women’s Work
Neroli Rose is a U.S. distributor of Lulu Life Sudanese shea butter products. We believe this shea butter is unmatched in terms of its high nutritional value and ability to moisturize the skin. For centuries, the harvesting and processing of shea nuts has been the domain of Sudanese women and regarded as women’s work. After 30 years of civil war, which ended in 2005, many of these women are raising large families on their own. The Lulu Life Cooperative provides these women with a trade, access to large markets abroad and fair wages. As many as 800 women and their families depend on sales of Lulu Life shea butter as their sole means of financial support. In Southern Sudan, families must pay to send their children to school.
